Your new Company:
This established renewable energy developer backed by an international investor is growing fast with multiple sites for utility scale Solar and BESS infrastructure, progressing through planning & development approvals and approaching construction. They have a small but experienced team and are looking to build the team to cover their next phase.
Your new role:
Manage the Grid connection process across Utility Scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from end to end, including managing GPS studies and consultants, negotiating grid connection agreements and network compliance.
Who you are:
You have a background in power systems or grid connection engineering and have spent time in a lead role managing grid connection. You will need strong knowledge of grid connection requirements in New Zealand and be comfortable with power system modelling using tools such as PSS/E or PSCAD for grid scale renewable energy projects.
