Your new role:
Reporting to the HSSE Manager you will conduct regular site inspections and audits of renewable energy projects under construction and in operation. You will ensure the consistent application of the client’s management system, supporting the Manager with corporate reporting, budgeting, risk management, training, auditing, and ensure compliance with all related HSSE requirements. You will be responsible for:
At least 3 years of experience in occupational or workplace health and safety, ideally within the Energy generation, Infrastructure or Construction industries. Environmental experience and knowledge within the construction industry. Plus, a comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation and standards. Understanding of environmental legislation is desirable.

- Assisting in the review and maintenance of HSSE management systems that include but are not limited to policies, manuals, procedures, and/or method statements.
- Preparing HSSE reports which include regulatory, internal, initial environmental & social impact assessment for development projects and provide quality assurance oversight.
- Build and manage relationships with security companies, strategic partners, local communities, governmental agencies and other service providers.
- Organising personal protection details for key personnel when required.
- Crisis management strategies for all possible physical, cultural and geo-political risk scenarios.
- Business continuity planning in terms of asset protection for high-risk ventures.
- Environmental risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.
- Compliance and ethics programs for internal stakeholders.
