    In business for over 10 years with now approx. 7 GW of utility scale BESS projects under development (15 projects) they have flown under the radar but they are expanding and have a number of newly created positions.  All this plus they have other projects in addition to BESS.
      
    Your new role

    Play a key role in a small team of Development professionals with a focus on BESS projects. This is a classical Development role responsible for the following:
    • Support the overall development program and budget to meet project outcomes;
    • Support all aspects of Grid, Resource, Economics, Contracting, Land and Approvals;
    • Support all project stakeholder relationships including First Nations, community, landholders, neighbours and relevant government departments/corporations;
    • Undertake due diligence on new project opportunities for viability of inclusion in the development portfolio;
    • Support the grid connection enquiry and application process in conjunction with specialist consultants and project partners to achieve the relevant grid connection approvals and contracts;
    • Support early works associated with the development projects to meet safety, compliance, quality, cost and time targets;
    • Manage relevant consultants engaged to support with the project’s development;
    • Report on project status to management, the Board and relevant external parties;
    • Manage the project’s compliance with approvals, licenses and authorisations;
    • Manage project claims and contractual matters.
    Who you are
      
    With demonstrated experience in Development Approvals including planning and environmental issues you have worked on the development of Renewables or general energy infrastructure projects up to and including handover to construction. You also have experience with development application processes, land / contract negotiations, stakeholder engagement, reporting and so on.
