    Your new company

    Is a very successful international Developer. They develop and operate a range of renewables platforms including batteries, offshore and onshore wind farms, solar, waste to energy, bioenergy and hybrid systems.    

    Your new role

    Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be involved in:
    • Setting up the trading desk capabilities and related compliance management in accordance with strategy approved by the investment committee;
    • Build a trading team;
    • In charge of trading strategy across the business which will quickly go to 1600MW hours and beyond as more projects reach completion;
    • Development of market reports and tools that inform trading and investment decisions;
    • Analysing the Australian energy market data to deliver insight to the internal teams;
    • Utilising data-driven models to forecast the energy trends.
    Who you are

    You are an experienced Trading Manager and have In-depth knowledge of the wholesale and retail electricity markets, bidding strategy, compliance management of National Electricity Rules (NER) and other applicable regulations. Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements would be highly regarded.
