This successful and growing renewable energy infrastructure specialist is winning more projects and building their team. Your new role:
Support the Engineering Manager in conducting cross-discipline design reviews, including safety in design, HAZID, HAZCON, HAZOP and respond to RFI’s.
Perform concept and detail design for secondary disciplines, including drafting and studies. Conduct design reviews for secondary disciplines, focusing on protection & control, automation, and communication. Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Commissioning Acceptance Tests (SCAT), and bench tests as required.
Assist in designing components related to secondary disciplines for tender submissions and feasibility studies.
Who you are:
Minimum of 7+ years of local experience in HV and renewable infrastructure projects with experience from the NSP or Contractor side in either Secondary or SCADA or both.
Proficient in protection and control design, including load flow, protection study, insulation coordination, earthing, lightning, metering, Quality of Supply Monitoring (QoSM), and relay configurations and AUTOCAD.
A willingness to travel for site visits before and during construction.
