Your new company:
Is a developer involved in licencing for offshore wind farms off the Victorian and NSW coasts. Their co-developer is a large international company capable of significant capital injection and is involved in utility scale renewables development and other significant industries.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Development Director, this position will provide power systems engineering expertise and advice to assist with OSW licence applications and early phase development of up to two Offshore Wind farms. You will also play a role in monitoring agreements with sub-contractors and provide electrical engineering assistance to the Director.
Who you are:
Knowledge of the energy system as a whole (i.e., knowledge of the Grid, not just the project side), grid connection, grid flows and associated processes. Experience with AEMO or the National Electricity Markets and engineering design. Renewable Energy experience highly desireable but general Power industry also considered.
