This successful and growing renewable energy infrastructure specialist is winning more projects and building their team. They pride themselves as being a smaller more agile alternative to a tier one contractor and have a solid track record in the industry. They have recently delivered projects for Transgrid, AusNet and Defence and have secured more work with major clients. They are an emerging leader in the HV EPC space.
Your new role:
Both roles will support the Engineering Manager in conducting cross-discipline design reviews, including safety in design, HAZID, HAZCON, HAZOP and respond to RFI’s.
Junior Design Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Conduct concept design for civil and structural disciplines, including drafting and studies and perform design reviews for civil and structural disciplines. Manage design reviews from all disciplines to external designers/consultants.
Senior Design Engineer (Secondary/SCADA)
Perform concept and detail design for secondary disciplines, including drafting and studies. Conduct design reviews for secondary disciplines, focusing on protection & control, automation, and communication. Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Commissioning Acceptance Tests (SCAT), and bench tests as required. Assist in designing components related to secondary disciplines for tender submissions and feasibility studies.
Who you are:
Junior Design Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Possess 3+ years’ experience in infrastructure projects, with a focus on HV (High Voltage) and Renewable Energy projects highly desirable. Contractor's side experience preferred. Familiarity with utility infrastructure projects is a bonus.
Senior Design Engineer (Secondary/SCADA)
Possess 7+ years experience in HV and renewable infrastructure projects with experience from the NSP or Contractor side. Proficient in protection and control design and automation design. Proficiency in AUTOCAD and SCADA plus a willingness to travel for site visits before and during construction.
