A leading energy advisor and trader across the electricity and gas markets in Australia and has three core elements to its business:
- Outsourced operational services to operate in the NEM, WEM & wholesale gas markets;
- Advice on energy procurement, entry strategies and renewables PPA’s;
- Risk advisory: generator outage products, risk transfer, synthetic firming products for renewable developments.
You will oversee the day to day running of the trading team based in the Adelaide office.
You will be responsible for supporting the trading room staff to ensure efficient operation and dispatch of electricity assets, oversee the management of 40 plus electricity assets and compliance with the electricity market rules.
Leading the trading team, you will provide technical support and advice, manage the engagement and performance of the team and continually look for more efficient ways to produce better outcomes.
Who you are
You have strong electricity trading experience and people management skills.
If you don't live in Adelaide, a relocation allowance will be negotiated.
