This newly established renewables company has plans to develop a number of utility scale MW size solar projects in the next few years and is backed by an international investor. They are willing to provide a degree of flexibility to working arrangements, you can work 4 or 5 days per week. The role is ideally based in Auckland but remote options may also be considered for the right candidate. Australian candidates are encouraged to apply as relocation assistance will be negotiated.
About the Role
In this role you will work alongside a Senior Development Manager and will be responsible for the following:
- Manage planning process throughout the development stage;
- Liaise with government bodies and regulators;
- Support the consultation process with relevant planning authorities, regulators, general public, landowners and other stakeholders.
The primary function of this role is to provide planning experience and knowledge to the company’s project portfolio. You may have already started your Development career but looking for greener pastures; you might experience in renewable energy, environmental, telecommunications, large scale land development or real estate.
Having a tertiary qualification in planning and/or resource management and previous experience in managing planning projects is relevant to this role.
