Seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to assist in the expansion a EV public charging network

Your new company
Our client is a leading player in the transport sector who are currently transitioning to clean energy with a national strategy to decarbonise their operations and reduce emissions. The development of electric vehicles and other non-traditional transport fuels present an opportunity for them to decarbonise the transport market. Their goal is to become the market leader in clean charging infrastructure around New Zealand with each charging point being powered by renewable energy.
Your new role
Responsible for originating and negotiating EV public charging agreements across New Zealand, managing key commercial partnerships and supporting the successful deployment of EV charging infrastructure at third-party sites. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across deployment, legal, finance, marketing and operations to drive growth, optimise network performance and deliver long-term value. You will coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and deployment of EV charging infrastructure at destination sites
Who you are
You have experience in business development, sales or account management roles from commercial property, sustainability, electric mobility, fleet management or a related sector. You have demonstrated success negotiating commercial contracts, leases or partnership agreements with large organisations.
