    Your new role
      
    Reporting to the Senior Development Manager assisting with origination, and development of large-scale diversified portfolio of generation assets with a focus on transmission (and wind) infrastructure. Supporting strategic acquisition opportunities from a land tenure perspective and the legal team through interaction with land owners, community, traditional owners and stakeholders for land access agreements and options. You are responsible for:
    • Supporting the identification and delivery of land access and engagement development requirements, including agreements and approvals.
    • Supporting compliance with above approvals and agreements, through to delivery (construction and operational) phases.
    • Completing desktop and field-based investigations into land access constraints, identify red flags and assess route suitability.
    • Progressing route plans / concept designs for prospect projects in feasibility stage.
    • Interpreting and communicating technical engineering / environmental reports and studies to determine project impact and management requirements.
    Who you are
      
    5+ years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience in land / contract negotiations, community engagement, planning and development application processes, approvals and reporting. Experience in energy infrastructure development, operation and / or generation, including grid / utility-scale renewables - specifically transmission or linear infrastructure land access negotiation or stakeholder and community engagement, SA preferred. Proficiency in GIS is advantageous.
