Senior Project Manager (Renewables)

These assets include Utility Scale Solar, Storage, Wind and Green Hydrogen. They have significant financial backing and a boutique culture – good decision makers.
  
Your new role:
  
Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing projects within budget, timeline, and scope with a strong emphasis on both development and delivery. Initially responsible for various Utility Scale Solar and BESS projects gradually moving into Wind. The role will encompass different project phases from early stage development through to financial close and delivery to commercial operation. You will be responsible for:

• Administering contracts including the processing of progress claims and variations and the resolution of contract issues.
• Coordinate and manage project personnel and resources.
• Manage and maintain relationships with relevant external stakeholders (e.g. local government, service providers, TNSPs, community groups, etc).
• Effectively implement and monitor the project management processes and procedures including project management plans, cost control, site policies and procedures, project programs/schedules, documentation control.
• Assist with raising a general understanding of the requirements of large-scale generation projects among the wider organisation.
• Assist with the development and review of engineering designs and specifications to ensure compliance with the aims and objectives.
• Manage the detailed design phase of the project to ensure specifications, quality and performance requirements are met.
• Engage with landowners and stakeholders about project process, future tasks, and aspects of construction for the benefit of education and management of execution.
• Overseeing project staff to ensure compliance with project performance specifications, OH&S, Environmental compliance and quality assurance requirements.

Who you are:
  
Experienced in managing projects on behalf of an EPC, OEM or Developer in the renewables industry. If you have Balance of Plant, Substation, Comms, SCADA, cable reticulation, Transmission or Grid Connection experience, this is all beneficial.
  
The current focus of the company is on late stage development of solar and BESS projects. However, as the Solar and BESS projects are maturing, a number of Wind projects are at a much earlier stage of development, and as such experience in the delivery of wind projects would be advantageous.
  
This is an office based role with trips to site as required.
